Not on the schedule we track. The quickest way to reach Nova Scotia on a cruise from Boston is a 7-night trip. Every Norwegian Breakaway Canada and New England sailing on the schedule calls at Halifax, and her 2027 Bermuda trips stop there on the way out.

On Breakaway's 2 May 2027 Bermuda trip, Cruisebound's itinerary has Halifax on the Tuesday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Her 2028 Bermuda trips skip Halifax and sail straight to Bermuda.

Are there weekend cruises from Boston?

No. When we checked on 3 November 2026, no cruise from Boston started and ended inside a weekend. What Boston has is week-long cruises that leave at the weekend. Norwegian Breakaway leaves on Sundays, Holland America's Volendam and Zuiderdam on Saturdays and, in September and October 2028, Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas on Fridays.

How does a 7-night cruise from Boston fit a week off work?

A Sunday departure fits a standard week off. Norwegian Breakaway leaves Boston on a Sunday afternoon and is back the next Sunday, so the trip uses five weekdays, Monday to Friday. Holland America's Saturday trips also use five. Jewel of the Seas leaves on a Friday and returns on a Friday, which takes in six weekdays.

Cruisebound's itineraries give departure times of 4:00 PM for Breakaway, 3:00 PM for Volendam on 19 June 2027 and 5:00 PM for Jewel of the Seas on 13 October 2028. Your line sets the boarding time, and your cruise documents confirm it and the terminal.

Which 7-night cruise from Boston goes to Bermuda?

Norwegian Breakaway's. She sails a 7-night round trip to Bermuda every Sunday from mid-April to late August, and again on 24 and 31 October 2027. The schedule lists 40 of these trips, and she docks at the Royal Naval Dockyard. On 3 November 2026 the lowest fare was $679, or $97 a night.

That gives about 29 hours docked in Bermuda plus a day in Halifax on the 2027 trip, and about 48 hours in Bermuda on the 2028 trip, by our arithmetic from those times. Which 7-night cruises from Boston go to Canada and New England?

Norwegian Breakaway sails them on Sundays from late August to October. Holland America's Volendam leaves on Saturdays in June, July and September, Zuiderdam on Saturdays in September and October, and Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas on Fridays in fall 2028. The lowest 7-night fare on this route was $839 on 3 November 2026.

Both have four port days. The ports and their order change from one sailing to the next, so check the itinerary for your date. Breakaway's last trip of 2028, on 22 October, ends in Quebec City.

The Jewel of the Seas sailings are listed by only one of the two sources we check, and the schedule marks them. Confirm one with Royal Caribbean before you plan around it.

What are Holland America's 7-night one-way cruises from Boston?

They leave Boston on a Saturday and end a week later in Canada, Volendam's in Montreal and Zuiderdam's in Quebec City. You then travel home from Canada. To fly back into the United States, CBP lists a valid U.S. passport or a Trusted Traveler card such as NEXUS for U.S. citizens, and children need their own passport by air.

For example, Cruisebound's itinerary for Volendam's 19 June 2027 sailing has her leaving Boston at 3:00 PM, then Eastport on Sunday, Halifax on Monday, Sydney on Tuesday, Charlottetown on Wednesday, a day at sea and Quebec City on Friday. The trip ends in Montreal on Saturday 26 June.

Several of these departures are also sold as 14-night round trips back to Boston. A few 7-night Holland America trips are round trips too: Volendam and Zuiderdam on 18 September 2027, Zuiderdam on 2 September 2028 and Volendam on 16 September 2028.

On a round trip that starts and ends in Boston, CBP says U.S. citizens can re-enter with a birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID, though the countries you visit may still ask for a passport. The cruise documents guide covers both cases.

Holland America's lowest 7-night fare was $1,234 on 3 November 2026, or $176 a night. Norwegian Breakaway's was $97 a night.

Is a 7-night cruise from Boston cheaper per night than a longer one?

Not always. When we wrote this on 3 November 2026, the lowest 10-night and 14-night fares came out lower per night than any 7-night trip, and both were one-way trips that end away from Boston. So the per-night saving comes with a trip home to pay for.
