Boston cruise parking: the Flynn Cruiseport lot, booking and shuttle
Cruise parking in Boston is a lot entered from 93 Fargo Street that you book ahead online, with a free shuttle to the terminal. SP+'s Parking.com showed $259.70 for the whole stay on a 14-night sailing when we checked on 3 November 2026. Older Royal Caribbean and Norwegian pages still quote daily rates for a garage across from the terminal, and they disagree with each other.

Cruise parking in Boston is a lot on Fargo Street, a short shuttle ride from the terminal, and you book it online before you go. Princess and the booking site agree on that. Some older cruise line pages describe a different garage, which is covered below.
Before you drive, check whether your cruise comes back to Boston. 40 of the 123 sailings on our schedule are one-way and finish somewhere else, many of them in Quebec City or Montreal. Your car would still be in Boston.
How much is cruise parking in Boston?
Parking.com, the SP+ site that sells the reserved cruise parking, showed $259.70 for the whole stay at the Fargo lot for Norwegian Breakaway's 14-night sailing of 8 November 2026, when we checked on 3 November 2026. That is about $18.55 a night by our arithmetic.
Its list of sailings showed the same trip as starting at $245.00, and the page did not explain the difference. It prices parking by ship and sail date, and on 3 November 2026 we could see no 2027 sailings on it yet, so look up your own date before you budget.
Holland America sends readers to the port's own pages on massport.com for parking prices and reservations. Massport's site blocks automated reading, so we could not check the rate posted there.

Where do you park for a cruise from Boston?
Park at the cruise lot entered from 93 Fargo Street. Princess gives that address, and Parking.com lists the same entrance for the lot it calls the Fargo Lot. The same Parking.com page says its cruise parking is at Massport Lot D-3, 492 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210, so expect to see both names.
Parking.com puts the lot a 9-minute walk from the terminal. You do not have to walk it, because the shuttle is free.
Princess's driving directions for parkers end on Black Falcon Avenue, at the terminal, where port officers direct you to the proper place to park. Royal Caribbean asks drivers to drop off passengers and luggage at the terminal before parking. The terminal guide has the full route from Logan and from I-93.
Do you need to book cruise parking in Boston?
Yes. Princess says you must make an online reservation before arrival to guarantee a spot. Parking.com tells you to pre-purchase online to guarantee your space, and warns that space is limited.
- How to book. You choose your ship and sail date on Parking.com, then a vehicle size, standard or oversize.
- On the day. An attendant scans the barcode on your phone, or takes a printed copy of your parking permit. The lot is license plate enforced.
- Times. The 8 November 2026 booking showed 8:00 am to 11:00 am against the Fargo lot. The page does not explain those hours, so check the times on your own permit.
- Questions. Parking.com lists (857) 350-4569 for Boston cruise parking.
Is there a shuttle from the cruise parking lot to the terminal?
Yes, and it is free. Parking.com says every cruise ship parker gets a free courtesy shuttle to and from the cruise terminal, and Princess calls it complimentary. Both ask you to arrive at least 2 hours before the ship leaves, to leave time for the shuttle and for security at the terminal.
If your line gives you an earlier arrival time, plan around that instead. The terminal guide lists each line's arrival rules.
What about the garage across from the cruise terminal?
Two cruise line pages still send drivers to the city's EDIC garage across the street from the terminal, and they disagree on the price. Royal Caribbean's page, read on 3 November 2026, calls it a covered garage, space available, at $16 a day, paid by cash, Visa or Mastercard when you enter. Norwegian's, read the same day, lists the EDIC Parking Garage at $24 a day.
Neither page carries a date. Both differ from Princess's December 2025 guide and from the booking site, which point to the Fargo lot and a reservation. We would not plan on the garage unless your cruise line's pre-cruise emails send you there.
Can you park an RV or oversized vehicle?
The booking page has an oversize option alongside standard, so oversized vehicles are priced separately. We found no height or length limit on a page we could confirm. Call the number on the booking page before you bring an RV or a tall van.
Can someone drop you off instead of parking?
Yes. Princess says port officers direct rideshares and drivers dropping off guests to the right place once they reach Black Falcon Avenue. For the trip home, Princess says drivers wait in the cell phone lot at 42 Fid Kennedy Avenue, a quarter-mile from the port, just east of Tide Street.
Can you take the T instead of driving?
Yes, if you can get to South Station. The Silver Line SL2 runs from South Station toward Design Center and stops on Drydock Avenue near the terminal. The MBTA prices it as a subway ride, $2.40 one way when we checked on 3 November 2026.
That suits people arriving by train or staying downtown. The Logan Airport guide covers the free SL1 from the airport and the change at Silver Line Way.
Are there park-and-cruise hotels in Boston?
We looked for a Boston hotel whose own website offers a cruise parking package and could not confirm one on 3 November 2026, so we name none here. For staying near the port the night before, see the hotels guide.
Should you drive to a Boston cruise at all?
Drive if your cruise returns to Boston, you live within reach, and you are bringing several people or a lot of luggage. Parking is priced per vehicle, so it spreads better across a family than one traveler.
If your cruise is one-way and ends in Quebec City, Montreal or another port, driving makes less sense, because you would have to get back to Boston for the car. Many of the Canada and New England sailings work this way. Check where yours ends on the schedule, and see the documents guide for what a trip ending in Canada needs.
